The Grandiose Home Interiors ("The Grandiose", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, providing residential interior design and turnkey execution. This policy explains how we handle personal data when you contact us, including through WhatsApp.
1. Data we collect through WhatsApp
When you message our WhatsApp Business number, we receive your message through Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, along with technical information such as your WhatsApp identifier, message identifiers, timestamps, and delivery and read statuses of messages we send you.
2. How we use it
We use this information only to respond to your enquiries, communicate with you about our services and your project, and keep our messaging service secure and reliable. We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for unrelated purposes.
3. What we store and for how long
- We do not store the content of your WhatsApp messages in our systems by default.
- Your WhatsApp identifier is stored only in a protected, irreversible coded form (a keyed hash), not as your phone number.
- Message event records (identifiers, timestamps, outcomes): deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Delivery and read status records: deleted automatically after 90 days.
- Technical operational logs: 30 days. Security logs: 90 days. These contain no message content.
- In rare cases, to fix a specific technical problem, message data may be stored temporarily for no longer than 7 days and then deleted.
4. Where your data is processed
Our messaging system is hosted on Google Cloud in Mumbai, India. WhatsApp messages are also processed by Meta Platforms under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Who can access it
Access is restricted to The Grandiose and the service providers who host our systems (Google Cloud) and deliver messages (Meta). We do not share your data with anyone else except where required by law.
6. Security
We use encrypted connections, verify that incoming messages genuinely come from WhatsApp, restrict access to authorised accounts, and delete data automatically when it is no longer needed.
7. Your rights and data deletion
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to further communication. To make a request, email info@thegrandiose.in with the subject "Data request" and the WhatsApp number you used to contact us. We will respond within 30 days. You can also stop receiving messages from us at any time by telling us on WhatsApp.

We may update this policy. The latest version will always be on this page with its "Last updated" date.

Website forms, storage and embedded content
When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, email address, phone number and message by email to respond to your enquiry. The cart enquiry form emails us your name, email address, phone number, any address you provide and your selected items so we can follow up. The website saves your cart in your browser's local storage. Embedded YouTube videos and Google Maps may set cookies or collect information when those embeds load.
